Preferences and How to Restore Your Basis Band

The preferences menu has two screens. The first, and default screen when you access the preferences menu is the ‘General’ screen:


Here you can change whether or not you wish for Basis Sync to start up when your computer starts by checking or unchecking the box.

The second screen is the ‘Device’ Screen:


Here is where you’ll see details of your Basis band such as the Serial number and Firmware version. You can sync from this page as well as change the account that is associated with the Basis band.

Restoring your Device

If you’re experiencing problems with your Basis band or if you need to clear the account credentials on your band for any reason, click on the ‘Restore’ button.

Please note: if your device already has metrics collected and showing on the band display (step count, calories etc), these will not clear with a restore of the device. These metrics will only clear at midnight.
